Francis Egly is the current fourth-generation head of Ambonnay Champagne grower-producer Egly-Ouriet. He is against “vins stereotypes”, believing that his mission is “to please but also to surprise”. This champagne is the expression of a family style that comes, first and foremost, from perfectly tended vineyards. Blended from Pinot Meunier, this effervescent wine offers vivid notes of dried pear, fresh mint and white pepper.
