Created in 1993, the iconic Le Pliage tote is named after the French word meaning 'to fold'. Inspired by Japanese origami, Longchamp wanted to create a practical foldaway bag that did not compromise on style with its brightly coloured nylon canvas and leather trims. And it was an instant worldwide hit. Now, the label introduces Le Pliage Green top handle bag, done in a monochrome colouring, crafted from eco-friendly recycled polyamide, finished with a tonal logo embroidery.
