Pilots and sportspeople were among the first to claim the aviators before the shades made their way into the mainstream. Luckily for us, Ray-Ban keeps the retro style in vogue with subtle reworkings of the iconic shape, including the Aviator II sunglasses. Fitted with contemporary polarised lenses that darkens on exposure to UV radiation, the polished metal arms are coated with enamel for comfort then signed off with the label’s name at the temples.
