In an industrial warehouse under the twinkling reflections of glitter balls, ROTATE Birger Christensen unveiled its 90s-inspired SS23 collection. Under the direction of Scandinavian duo Jeanette Madsen and Thora Valdimars, the runway saw swathes of sparkles, abstract prints, ruffles and puff sleeves. Plucked from the line-up, this jacquard mini dress is fitted with shoulder pads, an all-over obscure pattern and a gathered waistline for added volume and fluidity – all you need now is a flip phone, and you’ll be bang on trend.
