Seggiano's chilli oil is made with organic extra virgin olive oil, using hand-picked olives from their estate in Puglia, southern Italy. The olives are stone-ground in their own mill and the piccante, spicy hot chilli flavour is captured by immersing fresh organically grown chillis in the oil for several days. The result is a spicy hot extra virgin olive oil which can be used in sauces, stir fries, or any dish which needs a lively hint of warming peperoncino flavour from sunny southern Italy. Chilli lovers prefer to use it neat, as a condiment.
