After purchasing an old welding shop under a bridge in Waco, Texas, in 2008, the founders of Balcones spent the next year ripping apart its interior and installing copper pots and pipes ready to distil whisky. Fast forward over a decade later, and the brand now creates decadent expressions of the spirit like this Texas Single Malt. Infused with notes of stewed fruits, wood spice, and molasses, this iteration is a warm blend that lingers on the palate with flavours of burnt sugar.
