There's an ever-present air of days gone by that permeates all of Huishan Zhang's collections, and it's informed by the designer's fascination for old-timey Hollywood glamour. AW23 proved to be no different, adopting the minimalist, figure-skimming silhouettes of 1960s eveningwear. Take the Renee dress, for instance. Cut to a flared profile reminiscent of the era's tastes, its sleeveless bodice is swathed in shimmering crystals for a show-stopping look.
