For its AW23 collection, Californian designer Rick Owens has partially ditched the darker aesthetic that has become synonymous with the label over the years. Need proof? Look to the Aline skirt. Cut from a soft silk blend, this midi skirt is swathed in a smooth velvety texture and is topped with a contrast panelled elasticated waistband. And, of course, it wouldn’t be Rick without some avant-garde architecture, at the bottom you’ll find a flared asymmetric hem.
