    As a designer, Shaun Leane has always explored the thoughtful – and often darker – side of beauty, and so, the delicate pink cherry blossoms that bloom and fade within a few weeks are the perfect subject for the jeweller (symbolising both renewal and the ephemerality, in case you were wondering). By casting the Hooked Pearl earrings with precious pearls set in spikes of rhodium-plated 925 sterling silver, he reimagines the gentle flower with little bit of bite.
