Radford Dale is made at the Winery of Good Hope, a site dedicated to making premium South African wines that fully express the terroir and individuality of the nation's various wine producing regions. The name is a reference to the liberation Burgundian raised winemaker Alex Dale felt upon arriving in South Africa, and realising that he would not need to comply with the strict regulations of winemaking in his homeland. The wine itself shows elegant dark fruit and mineral notes, along with a lovely texture and nice savoury complexity.
