School is back in session at
The Urban Botanist – well, almost. On our timetable today? A combination of science and horticulture via the
Hydroponic Test Tube Vase. While the name might almost say it all, what you wouldn’t glean from it is that the glass vile is filled with Clusia cuttings and sits atop a wooden stand fitted with LED’s that light the glass from the below. A gift for green-fingered newbies and experts alike, it’s ready to take centre stage on dining and coffee tables alike.
- The Urban Botanist Hydroponic Test Tube Vase
- Contains: Clusia cuttings, a glass tube and a wooden stand with battery-operated LED’s
- Height 20cm
- Low maintenance
- The water in the vessel should be clean and fresh, bottled water is best.
- DO NOT use chlorinated tap water or filtered water.
- You will see the water decreasing but generally you will need to refill this once a month.
- Place your indoor plants in a bright lit area but not in direct sunlight. Ideally the temperature of their chosen living space will be warm and constant.
- Adding a few drops of liquid fertiliser once a month will help keep your plant baby in top condition.
