Grown on Ornellaia’s estate, situated amongst the rolling foothills of Bolgheri, Tuscany, the merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and petit verdot grapes that are blended to create the Le Serre Nuove dell’Ornellaia benefit from the Mediterranean’s sea breezes and shelter from the harsh northern winds. As for the flavour, expect blackberry, raspberry and red cherry, accompanied by floral hints of wild rose and spicy notes of pink pepper and liquorice.
