In 1972, Gianfranco
Soldera bought the
Casse Basse property and planted vines across 12 hectares of land. To create bottles like the dry 2013 edition, which’s been blended with a full-bodied Sangiovese grape, the Italian winery also built deep underground to facilitate natural air circulation while maintaining a constant humidity level. This one’s best enjoyed in the evening as you watch the sunset over the Tuscany mountains.
