Want to bring some South African rays into your day? Pour a glass of DeMorgenzon’s fresh, fruity chenin blanc – the winemaker takes its name from the Afrikaans word meaning “morning sun”. This wine comes from low-yielding vines planted in 1972, which grow on decomposed granite soils at a high altitude (meaning it’s the first spot in the valley to see dawn). Taste-wise, lush fruity flavours such as orange blossom, caramel, spiced pear and white flowers are balanced with crisp acidity.
