Ichendorf often traverses the natural world when conjuring each glass creation, whether that be spotting skittish wildlife in an oak-filled forest or snorkelling into the depths of the sea seeking shoals of fish. But to inspire the Cactus glass, the Italian label appears to have explored the rugged reaches of the desert. Hand sculpted by fire; this tumbler is planted with a carved cactus sprouting from the smooth, slender base. No need to worry about spiky needles here.
