It is very close to the 'optimum' resolution of approx. 24MP, which delivers a good balance to enable equally quality shooting in daylight or when it gets darker.

This camera will shoot in Canon's C-Log3 video colour profile, which gives you greater flexibility in post, to apply the looks that you want. Cinematic Looks With Ease
The world of filters and everything surrounding these can be a minefield, particularly to beginners. The PowerShot V1 eliminates the need to go looking for these as it has them built in. With the click of a button, you are able to apply an ND (Neutral Density) filter to the camera, to reduce the amount of light being taken in - this is particularly useful on ultra-bright days where the light outside is a little too harsh, and enables you to keep on capturing the best footage with minimal fuss.

No-Fuss Audio
The V1 has an in-built microphone which affords a goodamount of customisation to get your sound right, without the need for external mics and all manner of other equipment. It allows you to manually change the audio level, wind filter, noise reduction and more, so you are able to fine-tune the audio to what you want to hear. For those that want to step up audio quality even further, external mics can be connected via the camera's 3.5mm jack, or via the hotshoe on the top of the camera.
