For André Ostertag, wine is much more than the grape variety it originates from. It's about the terroir the vines grow in, the climate the Domaine is exposed to that season and the character that the fruit holds. So, when the winemaker launched his latest expression of Pinot Gris, we knew it was a deeply considered blend. The full-bodied drink feels dry in the mouth and leaves a mix of earthy and fruity notes on the palate. Having aged in old oak barrels for nine months, it's finished with a plump perfume of confit fruit such as homemade marmalade or apricot.
