Oiva Toikka is a renowned Finnish designer with a penchant for high-flying birds. The aviary collection debuted back in 1972, combining a soft spot for singing birds and mastery over mouth-blown glass to create winged ornaments like the Flycatcher. In 2014, Toikka flew the nest to join forces with iittala, moving manufacturing to the brand's Glass Factory, relaunching its acclaimed styles and harmonising with a brand new birdsong.
