When Kartik Kumra founded the New Delhi-based brand Karu Research, he set out to keep production as authentic as possible, working with master artisans to embellish styles like these shorts. The label keeps things planet-positive by constructing this breezy pair from pure upcycled cotton to combat textile waste. Cut to a relaxed, knee-length profile, they're flourished with embroidered mirror embellishments and traditional Kantha stitching throughout.
