Virgil Abloh titled his
Off-White AW18 collection as ‘Business Casual’. The inspiration came from his fascination with the banality of working at a desk job, which he predicted as his own destiny before becoming a designer. That tension is matched in the construction of these jeans. Part straight-laced and well, ordinary, the conflict begins at the waistband which is ripped all the way around, the cuffs too, and bound together by a shoelace belt.
