When Alexander McQueen says tread sole, it means tread sole. The (aptly named) Tread Slick boots are fitted with an outrageously over-the-top platform tread sole. The rest of the shoe is pretty nice, too – it’s cut from fabric with maximalist silver-toned eyelets, a rubber toecap and lace-up silhouette. These shoes are made for slouchy streetwear looks, but tapered/cropped trousers are a must for showing-off purposes.
