It was a trip to Papua New Guinea in 2015 inspired textile designer Caroline Sherman to start Among Equals. The non-profit label celebrates generations of traditional craftsmanship with its Papuan Bilum bags; each one is handcrafted by an artisan weaver, meaning each is a one-of-a-kind piece that’s particular to the weaver, her family and her home. The Paradise style is emboldened with a vibrant graphic motif and finished with a swinging tassel. (Height 32cm, width 39cm, depth 0.5cm)
