Barbour jackets are as prevalent in the British countryside as charming thatched cottages, but the label doesn't let ubiquity get in the way of dreaming up new uses for its signature waxed cotton fabric. An updated version of the Spey fishing style, the Avon jacket is cut to a boxy silhouette that hits just at the hips. It's topped with a detachable hood and D-ring loop, but the soft corduroy collar and weather-proof fabric are reassuringly familiar.
