Matthieu Blazy had big shoes to fill when he took the helm at Bottega Veneta for AW22, and the Belgian designer made an impressive splash with the introduction of the Sardine bag. The Italian house has become something of a go-to for cult-favourite It Bags, and this slouchy style is no exception. It’s expertly crafted from butter-soft leather in the label’s signature intrecciato weave, playfully accented with a solid, handcrafted fish-shaped handle (the clue is in the name, after all). It’s safe to say we’ve fallen hook, line and sinker.
