Inspired by Greek and Roman architecture, Piero Fornasetti rose to fame in the 50s as a result of his collection of over 350 ceramic plates decorated with an image of the opera singer Lina Cavalieri. Quirky and a little off-kilter, this aesthetic is still celebrated today by his design house who crafts this Mani paper basket cloaked in repeated illustrations of hands. Crafted from iron cloaked in a shiny plastic finish to protect the imagery below, it’s trimmed with glittering brass around the top.
