Playful is the name of the game at Alessi, the Italian brand known for whimsical design (it produces its wares at the “Dream Factory” and once collabed with Salvador Dali). The Bulbul kettle invites you to join this world with a tactile design inspired by curling stones – almost daring you to sweep it down your kitchen counter. And where does the name come from? Well, “bul bul” means “It’s boiling, it’s boiling” in the Milanese dialect.
