The Dripless tapered candles from label Bougies la Française won a medal – unlike the majority of us – in the ‘20s for their innovations. The package maybe retro inspired, with turn of the century calligraphy and design, but the holed construction makes them a staple in the French houses to this day. The holes allow for the wax to leak into the inside and be re-used, making them last longer – and putting an end to spilled wax all over our furniture.
