Take a look at the Vendôme table lighter as an example. Hailing from the line-up of rings first conceived by Louis Cartier in 1924, the signature style is defined by its interlacing bands, which you’ll notice around the rim of the lighter. This design is crafted from ridged palladium-plated metal, with the gold-tone band interjecting the silver-toned polished finish.
