Corazón Tequila’s award-winning añejo comes from the distillery’s years of experience – Casa San Matías has been perfecting its craft for over 130 years. Currently led by Carmen Villarreal, the family business uses time-honored distilling traditions and state-of-the-art expertise to create tipples like this amber-coloured tequila añejo. A complex beast thanks to its ageing for 16-18 months in American oak, it’s forest-fresh and spicy on the nose; on the palate, it’s savory and aromatic with notes of spiced tobacco, charred moss and coffee.
