A Rhode Island School of Design graduate and founder of New York-based Ransmeier Inc., Leon Ransmeier is swapping the East Coast for Copenhagen to design the Shortwave dish rack for HAY. Placing just as much emphasis on from as function, the main body is created from undulating three-dimensional stainless-steel lines that slot into the coordinating tray, ready to catch water as dishes and glasses dry.
