Sir Winston Churchill was Pol Roger's most illustrious customer, and so this vintage champagne is made in his honour. The specific composition of the blend is a closely guarded family secret, but the varietals include pinot noir and chardonnay grapes sourced from Grand Cru vineyards that were already under vine during the Prime Minister’s lifetime. It was also released a little later than other P.R. vintages, marking his appreciation for older wines.
