Who better to start a streetwear brand than a self-proclaimed sneakerhead? Well, take two sneakerheads for starters. That was the thinking behind brothers George and Michael Heaton when founding Represent back in 2012. The Apex trainers are constructed from panels of grained leather and adorned with low-key signature motifs – cue the metal plaque detailing at the laces and embossed logos. Inspired by the curving contours of vintage basketballs, this court-ready pair is signed off with old-school leather piping and arrives at Selfridges in an exclusive two-tone colourway.
