Italian Classic Colomba 750g

New to the concept of a Colomba? Translating to “dove” (named so because of its shape), it’s the Easter equivalent of a Christmas panettone; an enriched dough baked to light, soft perfection topped with tasty titbits. No Easter breakfast table should be without one, so we’ve whipped up our own Selfridges Selection offering with the help of the Italian Perbellini family from Verona. The spongy loaf is finished with a soft glaze, a sweet, crunchy topping and whole almonds.
