Komorebi is a Japanese word which captures the effect of sunlight streaming through trees. Simple on the surface, it also refers to the feelings stirred up by this – the sensation of dappled sun on your skin, the scent of the air, the interplay of light and shade. That’s what designer Denis Guidone has aimed to evoke in his collection of vases for Serax. Case in point: this tall, thin vessel, crafted from borosilicate glass that’s been textured to play with the light.
