Winemaker Adi Badenhorst (who previously worked on vineyards including the prestigious Rustenberg) bought the Kalmoesfontein farm with his cousin Hein in 2008, and since then, AA Badenhorst has become noted in South Africa’s Swartland region. The White Blend, made with nine different grapes, from Chenin Blanc to Viognier, is a smooth, supple drink with notes of stone fruit and citrus.
