Dubbed as the “grandfather of the Op art movement’’, Victor Vasarely is being celebrated over at The Corner Shop with pieces like the Kanta pencil from Vasarely Editions. Made from a blend of recycled materials, this resin style is dipped in the artist’s 1970 Kanta artwork, which depicts his fascination with geometric shapes. And, you never know, maybe when you’re using it to write down your weekly shopping list, inspiration for the next big abstract piece might strike.
