It was the combined efforts of Japanese designer Ryosuke Fukusada and Portuguese designer Rui Pereira that resulted in this Chim Chim diffuser – so named because its silhouette was inspired by ideas of recreating a fireplace in miniature form – for homeware expert Hay. Made from porcelain, its dainty design boasts a central compartment that modernises the ancient ritual of burning scented oils, with a “chimney” up top that lets the fragrance seep out and into your surroundings.
