When Alexander McQueen says, “tread sole”, it means tread sole. The (aptly named) Tread Slick trainers are set on an eye-catching, emphasised, chunky rubber platform and doused in a denim design. Stitched together from cotton canvas, the exaggerate plimsoll style cuts off at the ankle, leaving plenty of room to show off your slouchy socks and off-duty trousers. But if you ask us, a pair of semi-sheer tights and a mini leather skirt won’t go amiss either.
