There’s never a shortage of sweet treats at Christmas, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Selfridges Selection has travelled to Vicenza, Italy to source this classic panettone. Handmade by the Filippi family, it gets its soft, sugary notes from bourbon vanilla beans from Madagascar, as well as honey produced deep in the Colli Euganei Hills. Golden Turkish sultanas are also soaked in Moscato wine to round the loaf off – we like it best toasted with a swipe of butter.
