It’s made only in exceptional vintages, helping to cement its status as one of the world’s best (and most aromatic) prestige cuvées, then aged for 12 years before being released from the cellar, creating an effervescent, creamy tipple. The 2008 bottling has a peach-pear nose laced with plum crumble and dried herbs, which gives way to a palate of wild strawberries, almond croissants, blackcurrants and nougat.
