Ornellaia’s Le Volte is blended from a combination of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, all grown on its lot nestled in the foothills of Bolgheri, just a few kilometres from the Mediterranean Sea. It’s classed as an IGT—an Italian wine (that’s where the Sangiovese grapes come in) that’s blended with French varietals, earning it the status of “Super Tuscan”. This rich crimson 2020 vintage is packed with intense flavour, flowing with notes of berries and rose petals.
