Travel to Edinburgh’s Port of Leith and you’ll find the John Crabbie distillery; it’s been there since the 1830s, so we guess you could say they’re whisky experts. You can find out when you try this limited edition of 527 bottles, a single malt from a single cask in a Speyside distillery that was - and get this - accidentally created in the 80s using the wrong kind of malt and then forgotten about. 30 years on, this happy accident oozes honeyed sweetness, baked apples with sultanas, and chocolate-coated ginger.
