Double-breasted padded-shoulders wool coat

While the majority of Gucci's AW23 sourced inspiration from motorcycle garments and early 2000s sportswear, a few archival pieces were granted a new lease of life atop the runway. Take this coat, for example; it's shaped to the silhouette of an 18th-century peacoat, complete with the traditional double-breasted fastening and peak lapels. Topped by padded shoulders, it creates a structured frame and is punctuated by a splattering of pockets at the front to provide plenty of room for your on-the-go essentials.
