As any dedicated sneakerhead will know, Nike's iconic Air Max 1 trainers were originally released in 1987 and featured in the American sportswear giant’s first-ever TV commercial in the same year. A layered low-top style crafted with smooth leather panels and stacked on a chunky rubber sole, this rendition of the classic is fitted with a visible Air Unit – from which the kicks take their name – before being embellished with the ubiquitous Swoosh at the sides.
