Originally bought by Irishman Hugh Barton in 1826 – who owned the neighbouring Domaine de Léoville land and combined the two estates – the
Château Léoville Barton estate has been creating bottles like the
2005 Saint Julien for nearly two centuries. Blended with a combination of caberent sauvignon and merlot grapes, this full-bodied blend is infused with notes of red plum and cassis before finishing on a hint of creamy vanilla.
