In Paris 1961, Monsieur Rampeau cleverly moulded sap from a Hevea tree into a toy giraffe design, which saw the birth of Sophie The Giraffe as an ideal plaything for babies to grasp with their little hands. Since then, of course, she’s been developed into a roster of other toys, including this So Pure rattle. Made from 100% bio-based material pulled from starch and cassava, it helps stimulate the sound, sight and touch senses with its rattling sound, rings and moveable shapes.
