Jeanne Toussaint is synonymous with Cartier; the label’s legendary Creative Director took over from its founder in 1933, but did you know she also went by another name? The Panther. Titled after Toussaint’s pseudonym, this Panthère de Cartier necklace is carved from 18-carat white gold to form a snarling, skeletonised imitation of the big cat suspended from its chain. Look closely at its face, and you’ll notice it’s set with sparkling emeralds that glimmer out from its diamond-embellished silhouette.
