Communing with nature has always been central to
Dilara Findikoglu’s work, but for SS20 the Turkish designer took things a step further by creating a mass ritual to summon awareness about climate change. In homage to fellow climate activist Vivienne Westwood she presented pieces like this jacket; rendered in tweed, it’s cut to a sculptural, asymmetric silhouette and finished with frayed edges and buttons fashioned from found objects. Pair with the matching skirt.
