While the riotous version of Ibiza Paula’s Boutique was part of in the 70s and 80s is something we have to imagine, Loewe’s latest collection inspired by it gets us one step closer. Delving into its archives, Jonathan Anderson whips up this version of the Spanish house’s iconic Balloon bag from raffia and canvas cloaked in a mermaid print. Topped with an adjustable strap, it’s a style to slip on over one shoulder or across your body, wherever in the world you find yourself.
