Max Mara’s Pistoia top is named after the historic Tuscan city, which gives us a clue into Creative Director Ian Griffiths’ inspirations for this AW23 piece. Capturing the essence of the Italian region, it’s spun from a lightweight, airy georgette fabric in a warm hue and shaped into a relaxed, loose-fitting silhouette. The sleeveless number is then blanketed with sparkling sequin embellishments – a nod to that intricate artisanal craftsmanship the area is known for.
